Prior to co-founding Capstone Partners, Jeff was Vice President, Development for the Portland office of Trammell Crow Company. During his nearly five years there, he sourced and developed 246,000 SF of office, medical office, and corporate headquarters projects. He also led the private sector development team that purchased the development rights for the 120 acre CascadeStation mixed use commercial project, completed a complex entitlement process with four public sector partners, and developed $31M of public infrastructure.

Jeff founded Triangle Development Company in 1993, co-founded Forum Properties in 1990, and served as VP Development of The Koll Company in Portland starting in 1985. Throughout his development career, he’s been responsible for the conception, financing, construction, and leasing of over 1,280,000 SF of office, medical office, business park/flex, industrial, and retail projects plus acquisition, entitlement, and infrastructure development of over 415 acres of commercial land.

He served on the Portland board of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties from 1990 –1999 and was President in 1997. Jeff  co-founded the Commercial Real Estate Economic Coalition in 1997 and served on its Executive Committee from 1997 – 2000. He served on the board of the I-5 Corridor Assn. from 1985 – 1988 and was President in 1987.

Jeff received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Washington. He and his wife Lori live in SW Portland. They occasionally share their home with one or more of their three delightful children during breaks from their studies at NYU, Vanderbilt, and Southern Oregon Universities.
