Background
Skagit Valley Hospital commissioned Capstone Partners to assist them in evaluating options for building a medical office building necessitated by a large hospital expansion. Listening to the needs of the senior management team, Capstone and Mahlum Architects outlined a spectrum of alternatives for the design and financing of the new MOB. With an understanding of all practical alternatives, the Hospital Board voted to proceed with a project with Capstone Partners as development partner. The project was developed on an open book basis, with full involvement of the Hospital leadership, to meet the long term needs of the Hospital and meet the needs of the area physicians.
Result
- Construction commenced in July, 2005.
- Schedule Completion: Winter 2006.
